            | afveteran | Deerfield, Michigan | My Tall Corn is only at 8 ft. What kind of fertilizer can I put on it? Is this normal? Kinda think it should be bigger by now. | 7/18/2012 1:20:33 AM |

            | Stumpy | Canada | Put some high nitrogen fertilizer 43-0-0 or 34-0-0. Mix it in a watering can or sprinkle on ground around corn and water in real good. | 7/18/2012 7:15:12 PM |

            | Pumpkinman Dan | Johnston, Iowa | My tall corn is 8 - 10 feet tall. I fertilize it with the same things I use on my giant pumpkins, but add some extra nitrogen. At least in my area, the extreme heat has slowed growth. I hoped to have a couple of corn stalks over 16' by state fair time, but if this head keeps up that might not happen. | 7/24/2012 2:09:49 PM |
