I don't know anything current but I believe Scott Marley had a 5.77 pound quite a few years ago.

According to "Jack's Stats" it's 5.12 lbs and held by Peter DeNigris from 2019.

The largest tomato I have recorded for Scott Marley is a 4.46 grown in 2011. It ranks in 3rd place for Massachusetts. I show 63 tomato entries from Massachusetts. Peter DeNigris holds 1st & 2nd place for tomatoes grown in Massachusetts @ 5.12 & 4.59. I do not keep track of EXH or DMG entries.

Scott's 5.77 must have been a UOW or DMG then or it was weighed after weigh offs and early tomato deadline.

Jack, if I have one bigger than the 5.12 do I need to wait until a fair like Topsfield to get it weighed and certified or is there a form I can fill out and get it certified on a deli scale or some place similar.

Joe, you can weigh your tomato at any deli inside a grocery store that has a current certification on it. Take pictures of the tomato. I take top and bottom, a picture of the certification stamp and a clear picture of the tomato and its weight on the scale. Get the name of the deli employee or ask for the store manager's name. You need this for the online form shown in the link. https://gpc1.org/tomato-registration/
Hope this helps!!

Here is another site to get all the drilled down details for the MA state record set back in 2019 by Peter DeNigris:
https://tomato.giantstogrow.com/FruitList.php?DMG=DMG&EXH=%20&Other=Manual&City=&State=Massachusetts&Page=/MaxWeightByState.php
This is found under the pumpkin fanatics website.
