I was really excited when I saw the 13 pound tomato. Then there was a 16 pound tomato. Then I was puzzled when it fell off the face of the earth. What happened to it? Why isn't it on the GPC info page?

I only register my WR tomatoes and since all of these were after the early tomato deadline I just took them to the deli so that I would have an accurate weight for my own records,I wasn't planning on getting them certified since I had heard that it takes a long time to do it through Guinness and it's not that important to me to go through the hassle of doing it,Guinness did after a few days reach out to me wanting to help me get them certified but by that time I had already extracted the seeds so it was too late,I appreciated them reaching out to me and maybe in the future if needed I might consider it seeing that they really wanted to help me with the process, but I had tried something new this year and it seems to have really made a difference so I thought that I should be able to do it again next year so it wasn't a big deal to me.
Out of 23 late plants of my 9.44 seed I had 21 WR potential blossoms on first truss and I lost all but 7 to ber,so I need to get a better handle on that nasty issue, but of the 6 of the seven I think my average was something like over 11 lbs so I couldn't be happier with the season. One of the seven was grown in a grow bag for fun and it only got to 7.62 lbs,it looked like a single blossom but developed kinda lobe like,so I didn't include that one in my average.

I just checked the average weight on the 6 tomatoes and it was 11.93 lbs.

Do you have a picture of the big one? I’d love to see it if there is one. The 9.44 sounds like a really hot seed. Would love to see it grown again next year.

Dan I looked at your diary. Those fruits are massive. Whatever you are using in your soil is a winner. If I can get one 1/3 that size I will be more than 😃

Warblie- thanks and I'm sure you'll keep improving every year like the rest of us! Don't give up,always think outside the box or you'll not beat your competitors.
Reed- yes I'll be growing more 9.44 seeds and some from my 2022 tomatoes.
