Guess the weight of my gigundous MegaDom fruit. See pics and some measurements on my Grower Diary. The fruit is currently 31 DAP & I intend to take it to the Indiana State Fair contest on August 14 come hell or high water! It will be 40 DAP then. I am not going to post any more pics of this fruit on my Diary until the official weighoff. Post your guess on this thread. The deadline is 8 pm Eastern Time Zone Friday August 13. I will be awarding prizes to the 3 closest guesses, either over or under. Prizes are guaranteed to be fantabulous!

Official weight is 8.355. Totally blows my mind. It faked me out. Circumference was only 29.25” but it was deep. Other dimensions 28.75” & 25.125”. First place goes to Tomato Tim. Second place lunker99. Third place Farmer Brown. I will send emails to the winners to obtain their addresses.

Alright I fermented the seeds, treated them with TSP, a short dunk in dilute bleach & dried them. The prize boxes I took to the post office this morning and they are headed to Tomato Tim, lunker99 & Farmer Brown. Thanks everyone for playing. Seed, of course, will be available as priority to any clubs that request them for the auctions this winter.
