Ive read about and tried various ways to save tomato seeds. While each method may have merits, I came up with a new method that may be of use. Its the "blender" method. A lot of the seeds like to stay in the pulp (in suspension) and I found that a blender set on low will add air and knock a lot of these seeds out of the pulp. Of course if the blades were too sharp and spinning too fast it would cut the seeds apart but that didnt seem to be a problem for me. Super slow here, thought it was worth a mention.

The seeds sink to the bottom after. Its not 100% its more like 85% I am sure I will toss a few babies out with the bath water but its pretty good. It gets a lot of seeds out of the pulp though. Kind of a "duh" idea maybe but I havent read it on here... so I am raising your IQ or lowering it... not sure which.

I used the ferment process and then added bleach with water. I got 95% germination out of 15 seeds only 1 did not start.

A college professor told me that he used his blender with duct tape on the blades. I've never tried it though.
