            | springwater | Gays Mills,WI | I am looking for the longest self pollinated ghost green gourd ever grown. By ghost green I mean no stripes or marble. I have seen ghost green Lgs at contests before. Is there any difference in the genetics of a ghost green LG than that of a striped or marbled LG such as the 134.25 Johnston/Butler or the 135 Jacobus. I am interested in any information anyone has. Thank you! | 12/8/2010 11:31:47 PM |
            | Peace, Wayne | Owensboro, Ky. | springwater, what contest, & what LG is Ghost Green? Not a LG, grower but this is way curious to me!!! Peace, Wayne | 12/9/2010 11:41:53 PM |
            | springwater | Gays Mills,WI | Wayne, I noticed that some LG have stripes and some are a light green color with no stripes. I am trying to find the longest light green gourd with no stripes to possibly pollinate with our striped 135". | 12/10/2010 10:32:34 AM |
            | Andy H | Brooklyn Corner, Nova Scotia | For what it's worth, the 95 Seca from 2000 grows nice long skinny uniform light green gourds. As a plus, it's the mother of the 109 Eaton and comes from a different line from Italy.
