I don't know if there is a best time to pollinate. I have pollinated about the same time the last 3 years. I'm starting about a week earlier this year. Had my 1st pollinations today.

Dave I pollinate when there are females in the right positions on the trellis.I find that many of them don't take though and it takes 8 days to know for sure. As I recall usually my best LGs come from the Aug pollinations,in the Aug 5-15 zone. This year could be different with the earlier season due to the extra heat.
