I am trying giant watermelons this year. I heard on the GPC conference to use bottle gourds. I assume there are giant bottle gourds that should be used for the root stock? Where can I buy seeds?

Bushel Gourds and Rampart Gourds are most highly used rootstock for watermelon grafting.

Where do you buy Rampart gourd seeds? I assume they need to be a giant strain?

They are hard to find but you can sometimes get them from a seed company who will special order them for you. https://www.takii.com/where-to-buy/
Another option would be to ask growers on here, many of them grow there own rampart rootstock seed. I don't have rampart, but I do have bushel gourd or Strongback if you are interested send me a bubble.
