Been since 2013 now

kent has had it a bit long, said he is getting tired of not breaking 350 again himself too.

If the weather is right, it can be done. So many new growers since 2013 . It is bound to happen sooner or later.

I'm trying it for first time this year. I have a257.5 Barlow with 316 Edwards x 296.5 barber genetics. I'm also going to try a little grafting on some separate seeds from store naught Carolina cross. I'm going to use the root stalk of a giant pumpkin. I found a successes report dating back to 1927. sooo fingers cross.

Not giving up, just gonna try harder this year.
My bet is someone somewhere breaks the record.

I agree with Chris. It will happen this year for sure.

I agree the record will probably fall this year. But death & taxes and a very few other things are for sure. World records being broken is not one of them.A new record certainly would put some added fun into our hobby. I wouldn't be too surprised if someone from outside the USA won the record again. Then it would be exciting to see the competition to bring the record back home again.

Yeah, Kentucky's up there somewhere. Mr. Mudd at 357.7#.

Good guess Clutchhitter but I think your about 2 lbs low and you need to move a little southeast. The added competition this summer will have Chris primed for a new WR. Not only that but he’s on Lindleys GOAT team. Lindleys GOAT team don’t lose!!

Make me wonder if Joe Jutras is going to try to claim this one too?

I’ve got 4 names in mind that could definitely break it.

I might have a bunch of 150s at the end of the year but it won't be from not pushing

I doubt that Jeremy.
Maybe a bunch of 250s.
