is there a process, and chart, for measuring water melons??? this is my first time growing melons, and i am interested in their growing progress. thank you;;;

Also check out the GWG website it has 2 different charts on it. You would measure the same way you do a pumpkin. Circumference, side to side, and end to end. Consider joining the Giant Watermelon Growers club, great club for melon growers.

Jeremy is. Odds to. I've found the chart on the GWG site to be a little more accurate than the GPC chart. Ask questions and read the back pages here. Lots of knowledge and plenty of folks who like to help.

thank you guy's, for your replies, i knew i would get some information on this site. i had a bit of room left in my patch, so i put in a couple of melons this year. they are going really well. it will be good to follow their progress next season;
