This is my first try at big melons and was wondering when most northern growers start there watermelon seeds ?

I start mine about April 10th Melons are slow growers. Dont push them the first 2 weeks you will kill them. Keep the grow lights real close like 2 inches from plants & acclimate them outside when possible. Chris Kent is posting a video on our Facebook page at WWGG. I started mine middle of May last year. If they get ready early a lot easier to move to the basement James!
