I need some help all my grafts die after like a week and I don't know how to expose them to the sun gradually but at the same time protect them. I tried birdhouse gourds and they don't seem to do well but they seem to have the better chance of surviving with butternut squash it seems. I don't even know what they can or can't be grafted to.

At one week your graft should still be in the hospital. You should be watching them closely at this point.I would only remove the dome for short peroids. If they start to wilt put the dome back on.Are you using the tall dome?Short dome maybe to humid inside. They must be babied for 2 weeks.

after I graft I leave in humidity dome for 5-7 days, and first 24 hours after surgery in total darkness, try fig leaf gourds for your rootstock c. ficifolia I think.
