HELLO ,ALL YOU MELON HEADS, just a reminder ,Ohio Giant Watermelon Growers is a paid membership only ,starting this year, deadline is August 30th,, prize money will be paid to members only !non paid members can exhibition only ,,for donated prizes and ribbons ,send payments to Rob Hampp p,o box 15 New Holland Ohio 43145, will be held at the Fall Festival of leafs in Bainbridge Ohio, weigh off will be on Saturday 1;00 pm entries need to be in by noon!thxs and keep them growing !!

if you mean the vine the melon is on, then no i don't terminate that vine, but it kinda self terminates as so much juice goes to the fruit, the vine just stops usually.
