What seeds that you have started look promising right out of the gate?
I have started germinating and I am really impressed right now with the 274 Kent and my 164.5 seeds. I have started others, but these 2 seem to be hot runners.
Share your thoughts of seeds just started. Add as you germinate them.

I will start on the 23rd. It has been raining alot here and have no way to get in the patch. I figure they can go 14 days inside with no problems.

I have 5 grafted plants,291s,282,260.5.& 228 Clementz.I have 6 more waiting to be grafted will do this weekend & make a new video with better close ups of plants(by request). The 255 & 239 are among these up for surgery.I also have germinated last Sunday the 14th.270,266 Neptunes & the 272 Edwards And many others.Looks like 22 out of 30 have germed since as of this morning. So basically I have nearly 40 plants going.I will plant the best 4 survivors.Maybe the best 8 & cull half of them.I watched Ron Wallaces video on growing the 1872 & 2009 plus Chris Kent preaches the same thing. My wife says I never listen.lol The remaining plants will got to local growers first come first serve.Don't come over to soon but awl are welcome to plants.

Got 12 favorites here, all different seeds. Practiced all winter with great results, BUT haven't been able to get a 242 Carson, 245 Bartoli, or a 252 Neptune to pop. Still have time and a couple more 242's & 245's but out of 252's.

Started 2 more 282 Dawson seeds since only one of the first 2 went. 1 of the 2 new 282 sprouts has become a hot runner. Catching up to plants that are 5 days older than it. With 14 plants currently going, the 274 Kent still seems to be the hottest. There are 3 of the 6 that really want a spot. 2 of my 164.5 (291 x 282) seeds are hanging right with the 274, and now 1 of the 282s is looking great. The 285 Edwards slow and steady. The 255 did not germinate. Looks like 7 of 14 want to be in the race right now. Yes, I too have taken on the Kent/Wallace theory of seeds. Make 'em show you they are worthy.

Started 15 seeds all 15 came up in 72 hours. 5 of the 15 were 255's. The 1st two up in 36 hours were 255's. One of the 5 is for me and one is for my buddy tall corn. So the race is on. Will use the others for back up.

Ok, overall, 15 for 18. 2 255s and one 285 Edwards did not germinate. If it is not meant to be, move on with what you got going good.

I agree about the Kent plants. The 291s looked like they didn't even notice that they were decapitated and shoved down the throat of another plant.
