20x20 feet (400)is common I think.

But 1/2 that much room will grow a good melon.

Thanks guys I was thinking 15x20 do you think that will be big enough and do you need more than one plant to poll. or will they do just fine by them self / I'll prob. just do open poll. Planing for next year

15 x 20 is plenty big and even a little too big in the opinion of some growers.
