Does it take a flower to bloom after you see it at the tip of the vine? I am aiming for a July 15th pollination date, should I stop pulling off the flowers now?

I don't think many people worry about the little energy spent on flowers, but wait to cull the culls. I would say it's a safer bet to let 'em all go at least until you have the one going that you want.

I don't pinch off any flowers till after my sets are done,then only females get pinched.Every cut opens the door to disease.

July 15th seems late to me. I think for my growing season here in Minnesota I need the fruit set by the 4th. I know that others have different opinions on that subject.
