I will be growing one or two melons along side my pumpkins. The pumpkins will be under shade cloth and also have misters that will be used when temperatures reach 85 degrees. I think that the melons would not need as much protection from the heat, any thoughts?

Melons slow down at temps over 95 but love 90. If it is approaching 100 it many not be a bad idea.
