The soil test will tell you what you need to add Pete. Without it you are just guessing. I am waiting for my results to come back.

I use Waters Lab in Ga because of turn around time compared to our state lab in Nashville. I've used other labs that others have listed in general discussion and I can't tell any differences in the results sent to me.

Umass does a really good job for $10.00. They will check the pH., c.e.c, % saturation, macro and micronutrients plus they even screen for dangerous heavy metals like lead, cadmium, and aluminum. I hate to admit it, but that is a better deal and more detailed report than I can get from UConn. (our state lab)

Pete, we recommend A&L Labs in Modesto California, or Western Labs.
We read tons of tests each season, in my opinion, these seem to be the most complete.
If you need a hand or need the soil submittal form shoot me an email.

Tom,

Any reason for the lab in Modesto in particular? They started in Memphis, do the different A&L labs give different results? I'm asking because, I have no idea. Just figured I'd get results back quicker from the lab in Mempis.
Thanks
