Come on down to Allardt Mark, we would all love to meet you. Somebody needs to give Chris some serious competition.We had melons from 1000 miles away in Nancy.You can fly down and I'll pick you up at the Knoxville airport and give you a ride up to the weigh off. It's a really fun day up there. Thousands show up and there is lots of entertainment.

5 months!!.... come on, y'all know this is a 12 month deal, and there no time to rest. As soon as they hit the scale, 2012 season begins. But I agree, its time for a break, I can plan for next year sitting in my deer stand.

It really is my favorite time of the year for many reasons. But it's really nice to see my grower friends at the GPC events. It really makes for some good times. I think most of us are looking forward and figuring out what we can do better for next season even before the current season is finished.

Hey Wayne, great meeting ya'll and my hat is off for a super weigh in. I do have another one going, and its going to be a hard choice to make...elkin or allardt. One day its going to elkin, then the next day I want to grow a few more and go to allardt. It 84 days and still growing so its a tough call.
