It was a lope a 40 pounder LOL. I left it behind the shed and forgot about it for a while next time I noticed it it looked like this. I guess it leaked out and dried hard on top. Funny couldn't scrap all of it out of the grass but the seeds had dried too inside the shell.

No melons left Dennis, I only planted three competition plants. I lost a real nice one on the 113 Kent. And pulled up the plant on the 255 later. The melon wasn't growing near as fast as the 291, so I pulled the plant to have better access to the 291.

Oh, I think I bought mine from P&P seed comp., the handles sure make it easier than a tarp. Only thing is it really needs one more handle in the middle on the sides. Wouldn't hurt if it was a little bigger too. I think they have some small pumpkin tarps that might work for large melons.
