Anyone know what was weighed this past weekend in Hope?

I've been trying to upload some photos from Hope, but I can't get them to go. Lloyd brought several there for an auction. The biggest was around 160. He is saving his others for a weigh off in Hope on Sept.3, Laborday weekend.

Todd- This would be a good year for you to crate up a couple of melons and bring them to the Labor Day weigh-off. It would be refreshing for us to see some large watermelons this summer.

Mr. Bright, I would love to head to Hope, but I would need a large melon first.LOL. I have looked at the directions, 16 hours! But I think it would be fun to go to where it all began. Maybe I can stop by Georgia and pick Jake up.

Todd- I hoped you had a big melon or two mixed in with your large cantaloupes. The cantaloupes in your diary are extra nice.

I didn't plan to have one ready by then, but the stem is giving me trouble. If it quits growing I'm thinking about goin'. Still pluggin along right now so I hope I don't have one finished by labor day, but we'll see next week. I got a four day weekend next week so I'm game.
