well my 291 kent is growing finally 2 foot long and has 2 flowers today yeah oh yeah half way there lol pizza

My plants are way behind last years. The weather did a total flipflop from last year, which is out of our control. I think we will have to hope for a warm September to get a decent sized melon around here this season.

At least mine look to be healthy this year. At this time last year, mine were coming down with downy mildew.

Two foot long is pretty short. Mine is probably 12 to 14 foot long with lots of side branching.

My plants were over two foot long when they went in May, having started them in March. I normally say that I like to set fruit in late June, but the pollinated the first of them this morning, so early to mid July it is.
