I planted 2 butternut squash plants this year just for the squash bugs. So far I have not seen any on the melons, but yesterday found 3 hiding under the cot leaves of the squash plants. So far the decoy plants have done there job and between Merit, Talstar and Baythriod maybe I can keep the melons safe.
