Using the wet paper towel method, all 3 of the 193 Whites that I started Monday at noon are sprouted. The roots were 3/8 -1/2 long already, so they must have popped around 36-40 hours. That seems fast, but I am very pleased with them. Hopefully this speed will continue throughout the season.
James said this was his best plant ever. Not sure if he meant aggressive wise or health ?

I meant aggressive. It made a good attempt owning the garden for itself, and it had a very impressive stump.

Great to hear that !
I kept notes from my melons last year when they were growing in the grow box, so I will compare them to the 193's soon.

I have germinated a couple as well,These were in soil in a High 80's- 90ish degree, germination chamber and have had very good results. One got leggy real fast due to heat w/o light. The other is a nice plant.
