Subject: Drip tape users???

Do you put drip tape down first? or drip tape down on top of vines???Seems like it would be easier to put down first,so as to not brake leaves & such,Need some advice please.

I put it down first and use a valved coupling at each head so I can water the patch area as needed.

same here, i dont have the valves though Mark. i just use clips that i bought at office max, to close the lines off that i dont use.

I use drip w/valves and install it before the plant starts vining.

Ok thats 3 for 3.I was told with Kins the tape goes over the vine not under, for burying purposes,I just wanted to figure out in advance,It will be alot of work drip tape on 10 plants,July & august & sept, will be easier!!All advice welcome!! Thanks Guys!

I go under vines to seems safer, less likely for rot.
