I would remind people in the US that when sending a SASBE to someone that the outer envelope should have at least 3 first class stamps, if you are not having it weighed.

I normally also put 3 first class stamps on the inner one also just to be sure. You never know how many seeds the person is going to send you.

I say err and put four on inner one. I know what that adds up to for 100, but very few of us should or would be mailing a hundred bubbles.... Outer on a manila big enough to hold a #0 bubble is probably going to be $1.39 (strange size and too fat surcharges).

Currently for up to 1 ounce package (most will call it a package due to the thickness of the bubble instead of a letter) postage is $1.22 -- Once it goes over 1 ounce the cost goes to $1.39 ( I sent a few bubbles with 2-3 dozen Pumpkin seeds to a few new growers that weighed in a 1.2oz. so in most cases they will be under the 1 oz. limit unless getting a large amount of seeds !)

So to be safe sending the inner bubble with 3 stamps and 1 4 cent stamp will cover up to 2 ounces which should always be sufficient and if just getting a couple seeds then $1.22 in postage should cover it (and for the outer envelope $1.22 usually is correct - Sometimes you'll get lucky and the clerk will let it go for .88 cents if they do not think it is thicker than a normal envelope size but in most cases they will consider it a package and charge the $1.22 for up to one ounce)

Correction the 4 cent stamp stated above should be a 7 cent stamp (cant add in the early morning !!) 3x.44 = 1.32 +.07 = $1.39 !!

If in doubt they have a plastic card with a slot in it and will stuff your bubble in it... if it doesn't go through that slot you are hit with a 'too fat to run through' extra and thus it goes package.
