Unless you want to drive up & help get the seeds out of 7 melons . Actually I still have 3 melons growing. They are genetic crosses, but should be great. I have 2 set on the 239. I did the cross when i thought the 239 would be great. It was crossed with my 113 which grew the 264. So I feel it will be a great producer , but the melon will only be about 30lbs. Its about 30 days old so the seeds should be ready. I'll let it grow as long as possible. I will plant it netx year for sure !

i would also think thats a good cross. i was going to ask you later if there were any 113 seed available. 2 or 3 people were growing it this year that have diaries and it seems to be a very vigorous grower .

Yes, lots of 113's available.
Its was by far the strongest plant I have grown.

I think a selfed 239 would be good. Tried to do one, but i think i was too late. One didn't take, the 2nd set last week, but i think time is too short for seeds.

I had a selfed 239 and was my fastest grower till the rains finally killed the plant off but the melon did get to 114 pounds.seeds are drying now. Dang rains shut down all plants this year and finally had some good temps to do something but can not get everything to work together.

I have a bunch of them. I sent you some Kirk. I put them in the mail Monday..you should get them soon. Chris, those I gave you at Allardt were 239 selfed. I don't know how they'll grow but along with the 113 Kent the were the best plant I grew last year. I know they'll see dirt for me next year. If anybody wants to trade for some that's fine, if you don't have anything to trade send me bubble and I'll give you some.
