So who's coming this weekend and what are you bringing? Looking forward to meeting several. Glad we are GPC this year. Chris, really wish your melon could have waited for this weekend. Any chance you'll bring a bigger one to Allardt?

I am probably going to bring one in the 140's(259x243-only went 54 days) just to put one in at Allardt.I know it won't stand a chance at anything but I'll probably enter it anyway I'm one of the judges here. They did pretty good, several in the 120 range... not great ...but ok for first year of trying. Learned a lot, had fun, any will do better next year. How are you doing Dreamer...you coming up?

little ones like that are going to hurt your average. thats going to drop you down to a 7 melon average of only 250 lbs.

I think we could forgive him a few pounds and just do a 6 melon average. I have a few "eaters" in my garden also.

forgot about the 109, hey, that was a mulligan. Besides, i think of it as more of a cull ;) we don't count culls right !
