Hi, I am from New Zealand a keen organic gardener I have 1 acre of garden space to grow, I just found a new hobby growing "Giant Vegetable".
I am looking for some giant watermalon seeds, your help would be appreciated, if any grower have any spare giant watermalon seeds to give away ?
Growing Giant watermelon will be my first time, I am very keen to try growing giant watermelon this spring season in September 09.
sincerely, Kenny Ho.

Hello Kenny,
You will get lots of offers for seed, which is how this group shares. If you can't get seeds, then let me know.
I like the Wow! factor for growing giants. I currently have giant cabbage, giant peppers, giant green beens, marrow, and of course giant watermelon in the garden. I also grow some really big roma tomatoes, that last year produced 1.75 pound fruit. That's pretty big for a roma.
You will find that growing giants are not all the practical. But the Wow factor does make it worth it.

I have just the giant cabbage seeds shared with me from England, but I could part with a few seeds. I just have no way to propagate them. The beans I will not have until I harvest seeds from this growing season. The large peppers are just your garden variety giants that you can purchase from any catalog. Are you still interested in just a few cabbage for this year? It seems late in the growing since mine are already forming heads.
