Hi We recently bought some property in Clay County, TN, growing area 7. I remember growing up in Illinois and all the watermelon patches and how sweet they were. I don't know anything about growing the melons, I think I can dedicate an area of about 200/300sq feet, that gets full sun towards the middle of the property. Not looking for monsters, just nice sweet melons. We would appreciated any suggestions or other links for info.
Thanks, Steve

Your best bet here is simply to read back through the postings. There are several hundred and just about everything about growing big melons has been discussed. The main differences in big melons and regular melons are genetics, the amount of room given to the plants, allowing only one melon per plant and a lot of TLC.
