Hey Marty,
When will you be showing your big watermelon this fall. What is the day you take the big one in? Our State Fair will run late this year. I'll take the biggest I have in on the 2nd of September. I saw you plants and they are looking good! Keep it up and good luck. Scott.

Hi Scott,

The 2 plants that are going good will be for August 18. My other plants are just going outside for October 3.

I don't compete in the fairs since the melons are not even ripe during that time frame. So I want for the big pumpkin weighins and hope they have a competition for us "lowly" melon growers.

Those pumpkins do cast a pretty big shadow.

Yep that's to bad. Watermelons are beautiful too! I'm shooting for first place of course and if I win I'll take home the BIG bucks! Six Dollars! LOL! Ya gotta love what ya grow and hope for the best. Good luck guys.
