These seeds are third generation from the Bright 248. The melon weighed in at 199lbs measured 53in girth 38in length its 0TT was 184. I had to pick it at its 52nd day of growth, to enter in the watermelon festival. I think at full growth it would have weighed in at 220-230 maybe. If you would like some seeds e-mail me cliff.knight@us.army.mil I also have some seeds that are a cross between Carolina Cross, Black Diamond yellow meated and Sun Moon and Stars. These melons are very dark skinned, the shape of a Carolina Cross, weight is around 160lbs and are an extremely tasty yellow/red mixed meat. In 2005 I planted a Carolina Cross in my regular watermelon patch and these were the results in 06 and 07, your results could vary because of the youth of the genetics.

Hi Alabama,
I have sent my email request and am looking forward to some of your good seed.Looks like my patch will be expanded considerably next year if I grow at least one plant from each seed source I am acquiring.I am really looking forward to the coming season.
Thanks,
Dennis
