Congrats to Tyler & Darrell Leonard for breaking the Can record for melons. That's the 3rd new Canadian record in 4 years. Way to go guys.

Congratulations on the big melon.
It is nice to see these big melons being grown. Maybe we can push the genetics up a bit. The max of the giant watermelons has been pretty stagnant for too long.

Congrats to all!!! New records (KY), and Canada, guessin Michigan too?? Great job for all ya melon heads!!! Genetics, are still sorta a ? mark?? Most melons grown, that I have looked at, seem to have a ? under the pollinator section?? Hard to control, small flower, or just not in the mainstream of weighoff, and/or auction returns?? Or are the flowers, just too small?? I will venture a guess that the 300# melon barrier will be broken in '09!!! Hopefully, in my lil melon patch!!! LOL Peace, Wayne
