pumpkinstoo?

hi everyone,
what's the procedure for saving watermelon seeds?
We had a really nice yellow watermelon in our CSA box and I'd like to try to save some seeds for next year.
Thanks,
Jim

All you need to do is put them on a piece of paper for a few days until they are completely dry and then place them in an airtight container until you are ready to use them.If there were any other varieties close by there is a chance your melon seed may have been cross polinated and you could possibly yield a different variety than you started with.

don't know about the growing conditions & garden mates but it may be worth a shot.
