If you already have Acrobat Reader (which I am assuming you do) it is probably because you have that file type set to open with something other than Acrobat Reader.
If you don't have Acrobat Reader - download it and install - this would take care of it.
If you do have it and it is installed, 2 suggestions. First one, you could re-install Acrobat Reader and it should fix things for you. Second, Correct the file type to open with Acrobat Reader.....I don't know what OS you are running, so it is difficult to tell you how.
My suggestions...hope this helps

If you are refering to the Holland catalog, you may not have the most current version of Acrobat Reader. Download Acrobat Reader 6.0 and then try it...it worked for me.

Ron All the above replies are spot on. I had to upgrade to Adobe Acrobat reader 6.0 for a project i was working on during the summer. Joels catalogue downloads in a matter of secconds as soon as you click on the link. Great replies guys to an interesting question from Ron.

Also you might try saving the file then opening it. I've had to do that with some pdf files.
