Hello, Would you guys please look at this picture http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=30087 in my diary and tell me why these seeds look kinda wrinkley. Thanks, doug

Is that the skin on them or the actual seed? 1097 Beachy's are kind of rough, but don't look like that.

that just looks like the skin though, try rubbing that off.

yeah, man, looks like the cellophane wrapper is still on them....i do not like the stuff! my cat, Pumpkin does, though---like a dog chewing gum! anyway, even if the seeds are looking like that after the "cellophane" is rubbed off, they are fine! you have more of them? nice pumpkins, man!

Doug, My 835 seeds look exactly like that. All of them. I figure it's just they way they they are. They are white, not thick skinned seeds and just dried that way. everyone, It is not the "cellophane" outer skin. gordon

Gordon has a point. I have some all white seeds here from a Blue Hubbard Squash that also look like that. I doubt it will make any difgference either way.
