I am in WCGP III. I am about an eight of an inch tall of a panoramic shot of 2002 Topsfield weigh-off. Mail me your books and I would be glad to autograph that page.

I'm in No. III as well... not sure on which page, however. I believe on page 47 but not sure....

Yep, there's a big picture of Martin Reiss and his big white giant pumpkin, Germany record, wasn't it?

Yes, that's right, Cameron. It was a German all-time record but unfortunately it was very white and wheel shaped!
In the meantime I also found out that it is on page 38! lol

Why are there few HH (the ones in the 3 books) that visit this site? Is this a site for want-to-be? Are they too busy in their patches growing 1400# pumpkins instead of talking about people who do? Do they peep in but don’t want to be associated with growers on the other side of the scales? I know these questions sound charged with innuendoes but honestly have you also had these questions in the back of your mind? I know some of my NH HH buddies just don’t do the computer/Internet thing. When I grow my 1600# next year I will still visit my humble beginnings at Big Pumpkins!

Not to change to direction of this convo, but Martin, what exactly is wrong with a wheel-shaped pumpkin? Is it aesthetics, or does it make it split easier, or do they not get as big?
