I am new to growing AG and have read and heard alot about Neptune's Harvest. Has anyone used this? Are there other products that are similar, but better? Any advice from the seasoned growers would be appreciated. Brian and 4 kids

hi brian and the 4 kids

yes neptunes harvest works well
if im not mistaken they sell a mix of fish and kelp emulsion that is also very good

i would get a soil test though before spending money on something your soil may already be high in

for example your soil may already be high in phosphoris and if so, by adding fish you would only throw the soil out of balance more

same thing for ph and the automatic addition of lime,or any other material or chemicals for that matter

ive been at this hobby a long time and the best piece of advise i could give you would be to have your soil tested and then make sure you know what the results are telling you
before adding anything

the soil and its structure and /or balance is the whole deal
seeds, sun, location counts a lot, but the soil is the key

hope this helps you
