Thanks guys! Good to hear the diary entries are appreciated. What did I make too many entries for ya Ben???
Looking good so far on the 805, fruit is about tennis ball sized 3 days old. 2 more lining up on the main which is now over 20 foot out. Just snipped the first secondary at the edge of the patch. Plant is getting big!
Erick, looks like the 711.5 Handy could do something good, its almost ready to pollinate and the plant is intact despite the 100F temps! No mosiac so far in the patch, guess keeping insects at bay has fixed that! And weeds are under control!
The 880 Bortner is just about to vine, looking good Ben!, just a little burn so far....
The 494*x805 looks like it set Casey, will see in the next few days. The main has lived to fight another day. Plenty of greeny's on the side vines too. Can't get over the size of the stump and vines on it....
Got a few other awesome young plants about to vine, of note the 603 Needham, 758 Wallace and 659.5 Simmons. The Beachy duo of the 801 and 807 are growing crazy now too, with mains hitting 7 foot. Could be some good ones out there!
Back at home the 845 Bobier has turned into an awesome plant, hopefully it can produce well in the flag pattern. The main grew almost 2 foot on it yesterday, big and thick, will pollinate first one on the main tomorrow!
Just made the first pollination on the 876 Mombert today too, crossed with the 845 Bobier. It is turning into a very nice plant indeed, plenty to grow as it has 600sqft of space.....
Anyway just a bit of pumpkin rambling! Living and breathing pumpkins right now, burying vines everynight(till past midnight last night!,was still 85F at midnight!) Putting in more effort this year than in previous seasons, hope it pays off!

Darky, I'll swap you some of the rain for a bit of our high temps, but keep the wind..... lol. I've had enough of that already ;)
