No, This is not another amusing madman post. This news hits home....

I cut off my 591 {from the Scherber clone} and carved in a big USA right after that nightmarish day. Time has past and we all had to get on with our lives. I've stumbled on some disturbing info though. This may be old news to some of you... but if you have not been exposed to this, then perhaps you should take a few minutes away from pumpkin research & watch the slide show...

http://members.shaw.ca/freedomseven/pentagonlies.swf

or click on "Pentagon Strike Flash Video" from the following link or to learn more...

http://www.freedomfiles.org/war/pentagon.htm

Those with computers as sad as mine can expect about a 3-4 minute load time for the video.

Do we have have too much trust in OUR media? Are checks & balances still in existence which would prevent this from being possible? Who else knew about this? Is it possible?

I don't understand why there would be a cover up over what really happened to the 757?

It was aleged that a commercial domestic flight may have been brought down by our own airforce on 9-11 by executive order. So the next questions are "where did this happen?" & "what DID blow a hole in the Pentagon?"

There is a compelling case to be made that the Pentagon debris field looks nothing at all like an airplane crash site.

Well why wouldn't they just say they shot it down? Why couldn't they have just said that people on board crashed into the ground like what happened in Pennsylvania. It's not like having someone crash a plane into the Pentagon is cheap or easy to have done.

Something does smell a little fishy here though.

I'm not an expert on these things, but I do think people tend to look at videos and read the media and believe what they see. I also think that includes the slide show I just looked at. A person with some skill could put together a slide show and probably prove the opposite of what was shown. That doesn't make it wrong, but I prefer to hold judgement until I see or hear more evidence.

The age of info and propaganda is here for all to see via the internet, and hopefully the majority of users will seperate the truth from the false representatons of what is fact and fiction....Welcome To The twilight Zone.......lol...

I seem to recall news footage of the plane impacting the Pentagon on that day. Another thing to keep in mind is that when a normal crash happens it would not be at full throttle as it was with the Pentagon crash and therefore it would be quite possible for all the wreckage to be inside the building. If you have a woodstove - someday when you have a real good blaze going throw a aluminum pop can in and see what is left of it later - anything will burn if you get it hot enough.
Sounds to me like this could be another Michel Moooo re production. Glenn

In any historic event there will always be a conspiracy theory. We thrive on that stuff, well some people do. During my first enlistment in the Navy, I was attached to a VS squadon out of Cecil Field Florida. I was an AX (Anti-Sub Warfare Tech) and worked in the avionics shop. One of my duties was as a team member of the salvage and reclamation team. In other words, we went to naval crash sites and tried to recover anything useful. I was sent to the site of a recent crash. An A-7 attack aircraft, while attempting to land, crashed into an S-3A Vicking that was taxiing onto the runnway. Neither was armed with ordinance, in case you are wondering. The fire that resulted from the crash (remember the S-3 was about to take off and was full of JP-5 jet fuel)destroyed everything. My best description would be that somebody had piled up a bunch of junk and tin cans and burned it. Nothing was recognizable. Granted, these aircraft were much smaller than a commercial airliner, but I don't buy into the statement that every crash leaves recognizable debris. Did anyone see the crater left by the plane that went down in Pa. that day? There wasn't much left. I can also recall a crash outside of Pittsburgh, several years ago where a plane crashed into the woods. Again, large burned crater, not much left.

Continued:
There is some "pondering" as to what was under the tarp in the slide show, like something was being hidden. If you have ever watched news footage of crash sites, you would see that wrapping or covering crash debris is normal to protect it during transport. The missile theory is crazy. Consider this, if a missile struck the Pentagon, exploded (which it would have to do to cause the resulting damage and fire) what would be left to pass through several walls, making that hole? An anti aircraft missile is not very large. Even an SM-1 or SM-2 missile only carries a hundred pound warhead, and those are ship launched. Sidewinders and AMRAMS are much smaller and incapable of doing that much damage to a concrete building. Only a Tomahawk has that kind of destructive power. The people who made that slide show should have considered all the facts before devising a conspiracy so full of holes.

Had there ever been a ship called USS Eldrigde disappearing in an experiment at Philadelphia in 1943 going into a "time tunnel" :)?
If you know something about it, post it here. Most of these stories sound pretty much out of space, so a little bit history repeating every few years in my opinion.

Yep, the facts sounded pretty authentic and the movie was great (I still have it on video tape), but the question "is there any truth about the story" was never answered though :)

Got on to the second link Mark posted. Now I am sure the video was created by Michel Mooo -re and the other website was set up by Carolyn Parrish.
I was laughing about 10% into the theory and just about fell off my chair when I got to the part about them dumping the gravel on the lawn to cover up the directional allignment marks on the grass. Then when they say that they could not understand why there was cable spools on the lawn - why would they be there I wonder - could it be that maybe they were laying cables/wires during the renovation???

But by far my favorite portions were when #1 they talk about the WTC being built to withstand a 747 impact but imply that the Pentagon was not was good.

#2 - They theorize that the pentagon was struck by a missile - yet go on to show you at least 5 steel lightposts that were sheared off - man that would have been quite the feet for a missile to hit all them light poles.

#3 - The comparison of the landing gear tire to that of a welders cart - well that was enough for me - let me know the rest of the story please someone - I could not take any more. Glenn

All your comments kind of help put my mind a little more at ease, but I'll keep an open mind before getting too trusting in the government. Someone emailed me and wanted to state the government would plan and carry out the attacks to justify why Bush sent us into the middle east. First was Afganistan, then suddenly Iraq, since we we over there anyway. I do not believe with the technology that exists today, that they were not sure if weapons of mass destuction existed or not. That isn't something you take a guess at. There is a lot more to all this I'm sure, and maybe we will never know what it is all about. Another good point is how the incident justified & enabled the government or police the power to intrude on our personal rights if they think they have a reason to. That is yet another topic. Ask Jeff who had his patch raided by the DEA who thought he was growing pot instead of pumpkins... the world is slowly going to hell it seems... thank God for pumpkins...

The internet is a wonderful thing though is it not?
But can not help but think that websites like the one linked to above may have a big impact into influencing many kindergarten dropouts such as we may see tomorrow on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. Anyway this thread likely should be in the non pumpkin thread department. - Glenn

I've seen this stuff before but I'm not buying it. I still have the People magazine I bought just after 9/11 and I flip back through it from time to time. There are a bunch of eye witnesses at the pentagon because the plane flew in low over plenty of traffic. Everyone of them says they saw the plane coming in.

I don't doubt for a second that the government will cover stuff of up if it's possible (which this wasn't) and if it is advantageous. The one that makes me more suspicious is TWA flight 800 that went down near Long Island in 96. I remember several eyewitnesses saying they saw it hit by a missle or something. Maybe I'm paranoid but I don't ever remember it being explained away very well.
