Freezer or Frig or Cool & Dry
Optimally the frig
Freezer 2nd best(probably 90% as good as the frig, and plenty good enough for our purposes)
Cool & Dry 3rd best and still pretty darn good
Feel free to argue though...BF

If you freeze the seed, does it have to be planted after being thawed, or can it be frozen again(and still be viable). I'm thinking if you traded seed that was frozen.

Good question, Doug! I've been wondering about the same thing all the time...

Personally, I keep all my seeds in the fridge at a constant 5 to 6°C. The seed packs are stored in airtight jars with "silica gel" in them for keeping everything dry and the jars are standing in the fridge.

This might be good to know for all who trade with me...

In nature the seed would freeze and thaw all winter so it should be OK to refreeze seeds.
