Does anyone have a source for an affordable inline scale for weighing pumpkins in the patch?

Affordable to me is a product that you only have to buy once and it just keeps on working accurately. The boys in one of the Western Associations had one showing, at Niagra Last Year.
The year that I have two in the patch looking like a state or world records is the year I will have one of those fool things. :)

Contact Jim Sherwood or Jack LaRue, because the PGVG sells them. Seems like the price is very good.

PGVG scale cost like 600 bucks plus shipping. I got the battery operated version. It was a good investment for me. They can be recalibrated and certified. Mine is certified to 2000 lbs and when they checked it with the certified ounce weights, it was accurate to the ounce, but the digital readout only went to the half pound(8 ounce)
The normal one that isnt battery operated is 4-500 I think.

you could check out WWW.NorhternTool.Com for their scale. They have a 1 ton inline scale that's not very accurate at the margins, but it helped to decide between two comparable pumpkins! Costs $199.

Russ, we (the PGVG) still have (1) left that is made up and ready to ship. The cost is $399 plus shipping/insurance. If you are interested let me know.
