Hi everybody ! How’s it going ?
I would like to say 2 things :

1)    Anyone that is interested in my seed can contact me ( [email protected] ).
It is a 466 claes ’04 ( 760 pappas x 845 nesbitt ). The grandparents of this seed are the 582 hester, 898 knauss, 846 calai and 723 bobier and weighed 40 % OTC !!!
My pumpkin was only 49 days old !
I will be happy to send you some seeds !

2)    I would strongly advise you to grow a 760 pappas ( 582 hester x 898 knauss ) seed next year. Here are a few reasons :

* With an average temperature of 63 ° F in June, 64 ° F in July and 68 ° F in August my plant grew very slow. Begin August we had 1 hot period and in this period my plant’s size got twice as big !

* I was happy when I finally could pollinate a flower on July, the 28th. The pumpkin was growing very fast untill the bad weather came again. Here are some measurements :

Circ (inch)

day 10    22,4
day 11    26,3
day 12    31,4
day 13    36,5
day 14    39,3
day 15    44,0
day 16    47,2

* Even with our cold August nights the pumpkin gained 15 pounds several days !

* This seed just has great potential : look at that cross !!!

Thank you for your patience.

Stijn Claes from Belgium.

40% heavy otc??? Are you sure?

Did you measure correctly? No offense intended, I just can't believe that!

I understand your question, Martin.
I'm very sure I measured correctly. People at the weighoff ( including me ) thought it would weigh approximately 330 lbs...
It was estimated at 319 lbs and weighed 466 lbs...
