By this time you should already have your patch amendments add. Cow manure, leaves and if you live in a warmer climate rye planted. The month of November is time to dry your seeds from this years pumpkins. Making a list of seeds that you would like to grow. Sending out Self addressed stamped Bubble packs to the growers in which you have meet thew here and the internet. Also by joining local Growers associtions. You only have 20-22 weeks before we start it all over again.mark

Thats only 22 more weeks of learning from you pros. before I attempt to grow my first AG pumpkin. This year was my first year, and I grew Big Max. If only I had found this site and learned of AG's a little sooner. But I still think I learned of the basics from my Max. Come on spring, I'll be ready!!!!!

Remember Mike, even the "heavy hitters" admit that they still have alot to learn! And just when you think that you
"have a handle on it"....BAM! You gotta eat "humble pie"!

Iv'e often wondered what it is about gardening with all it's pitfalls that keeps me coming back. I never could put it to words but I found someone who has.

In his garden every man may be his own artist without apology or explanation. Each within his green enclosure is a creator, and no two shall reach the same conclusion; nor shall we, any more than other creative workers, be ever wholly satisfied with our accomplishment. Ever a season ahead of us floats the vision of perfection and herein lies its perennial charm.
