Well, finially got a home computer and now can send some pictures, hopefully, and tell you about the Allardt contest. Yea, the guy from the Carolina's took first with over 850 lbs. The guy here took his big one that he saved, he wouldnt take it to our local contest. Well it was 525 lbs, but it got a case of the blow outs. too bad...Im sure you know I felt bad....well, my big one is carved and rotting slowly. Saved the seed, only about 140 of them in the 453 lbs pumpkin. Inside the pumpkin was a huge spot of growth about the size of an overinflated football. guess that;s why it weight more than OTT measurement. Oh well, had fun.
