Does anyone now how this pumpkin did this year? I planted it, but the friut had very short stems and ended up breaking off. Did anyone else have this problem?

I had one for several weeks but it didn't hold up to the heat very well so I ended up pulling it. It didn't have much of a root structure which may have contributed to the heat stress. I'm sure I contributed to that by not watering enough. I think Amy Dopp grew a nice size pumpkin on her 788.6 this year.

I grew one but it did not do well. There was not much vine or leaf and the fruit was not very large. Made a decent jack 'o lantern though! I sure appreciate Amy sending me the seed. Vaughan
