For the past several months....in fact for a long time it seems, I have been unable to get in here without signing in each time. I had asked awhile ago if anyone knew why this was happening and no one had an answer...and then I was looking around in one of the other links in here and someone asked the same question....and you Tremor had the answer. Dump the cookies! I did and the problem was instantly solved. Such an easy solution! Thanks again Tremor. But I am wondering WHY dumping the cookies worked and if this signing in problem will recur and why it screwed up in the first place...anyone have any answers? (I am one of those people who have to know why something happens.) LOL Sue

A cookie very small text file placed on your hard drive by a Web server. It is essentially your identification card, and cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses. It is uniquely yours and can only be read by the server that gave it to you. If the information that the Web server(BP)somehow got corrupt due to a "hiccup", deleting the cookie forcs the web server to create another newer cookie on you machine. This newer cookie had your login info - Problem solved.

You're welcome Sue. It's a pleasure to help when we can.
Thanks Tom for explaining WHY it works.
