After a long discussion with my husband and my happiness at the success at my first growing experience, we've decided that YES we do want to try growing an AG or two next year.
Would anyone be interested in throwing a seed or two my way? I am especially looking for seed from a *regionally* grown AG -- Northern VA -- and I really don't care what it weighed -- I'm not out to set any records. All I care about is a nice orange color and a "pumpkin-type" shape. Something very carvable.
Thanks! Roan

Sure thing! I'll pretty much try anything :) I even got my next-door neighbour interesting in growing Big Max pumpkins and he's taking some seeds from Hortense for next year. I also had several seed inquiries from people checking out my carvings tonight as well. They couldn't believe that I grew Hortense in my backyard.
Next thing you know I'll have the entire Home Owners Asso. growing AGs :)
Shoot me an email and I'll send you a bubble. Thanks!
