If you took a tissue sample from a 1446 and a tissue sample from a 333, do you suppose the composition would be any different?

Good question. Somewhat different since they're grown in different soils & (presumably) different climates (& genetics?).
This would make a great field experiment.

My original thought process was that someone was talking about Einstein and my brain recalled how when Einstein's brain was analyzed that he had more and denser gray matter. Then my brain went, is the tissue from a World Record pumpkin the same as the tissue from a much smaller AG. Does their size affect their composition at all with regard to their chemical and cellular makeup. Could a tissue analyst look at the tissue from a 1446 and distinguish it from the tissue of a 333?

I'll tell you what. I'll email Al Eaton right now. His 1446 is getting carved by Scott Cully soon if it hasn't already been.
I'll foot the bill for the tissue analysis.
We have other "non-1446" fruit around here that we can also analyze.
All I have to do is convince Al to ship the guts to me either Next Day Air or in an ice packed foam cooler.
I'll keep you posted.

The 1446 is still intact & ample flesh will be available from Scott Cully's carving. I have the appropriate shipping device here that I'll send to Al on Moday if he agrees. He sounds like he already has his hands full so we'll see.
