To start off , nice collection. The 815 andreson will probably go green for you, but it is good. If I was to pick 4 I would go in this order (1) 865 Mettler (2) 815 Checkon (3) 845 Bobier (4) 869.5 Calai Hope this helps a little........Paul

the 869 should produce big BEAUTIFUL pumpkins, I grew one this year, but I didn't get a soil test so the soil didn't have enough nutrients for fruit growth, they all aborted at tennis bal size. Good luck next year, Tom

I think you should trade the 865 to me so i can cross it with my 935Lloyd.....any seed in particular that you might want for the 865?..........Glenn

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the seeds you mention, but happy to see you might try my 805 seed. The 3 pumpkins grown off the 805 Pukos seed in the USA all weighed over the charts (9%-20%)indicating it might produce thick walled fruit... Best of luck! Joe P.

1st prize-
I'd vote like this- just my opinion 865 Mettler 845 Bobier 805 Pukos 1025 Bobier
do you have any back up seeds in mind one fails to germinate or something happens to a plant? have you grown before? - no offense intended but I don't recall seeing you around on the posts before.( doesn't mean anything but mmight mean that you are new) the reason i ask is that if you are kind of new at growing AG pumpkins you might want to take a year and learn more about it before using your top of the line seeds. just a suggestion g1t

Frist to Joe. I have decided to plant the 805 because of the same reasons you mentioned. I wanted to see how it did before I planted it and it has exceded my expectations.
G1t: I have been on this site for about a year now and was formally known as blue ribbon.
This is the revised line up:
hill 1:815 checkon hill 2:865 Mettler hill 3:845 bobier hill 4:805 Pukos
Back ups: hill 1:1025 bobier(back up) hill 2:741.5 Calai (back up) hill 3:500 cilberto (back up) hill 4:801.4 cilberto (completing with 805 for hill)
This will still leave me: 1 845 bobier 1 801.4 cilberto 1 869.5 calai 1 815 Anderson 1 1056.5 Dueck
P.S. Glenn my email is currently down, will try to discuss later.

The 500Ciliberto might be a sleeper...its the reverse cross of the 712 Kuhn which did REAL well this year.....sometimes certain gene pools work well together.....Blue Ribbon/1st prize, email me when your all fixed......G
